Getting in touch with youth work realities

The study visit in Israel from the 2th to the 6th November 2015

From the 2th to the 6th November 2015, 25 participants (youth workers, project managers, EVS mentors/tutors) have been involved in a study visit held in Israel organized by the Italian National Agency for the Erasmus+ Program with the cooperation of the Salto EuroMed Ressource Centre and the EuroMed Youth Unit in Israel.

The study visit has focused on the reality of Israeli accredited NGOs involved in the ‪‎EVS‬ (Euro-Mediterranean Voluntary Service) process since the beginning of the accreditation process in MEDA countries and has fostered the creation of new partnerships.

The 8 Israeli NGOs accredited for Euro-Mediterranean Voluntary Service has been visited:

  1. Beit Ben Yehuda, hosting (2 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  2. Ilanot School, hosting (2 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  3. Beit Rahel Strauss, hosting (2 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  4. ASF Israel, hosting (2 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  5. Yad Vashem, hosting (2 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  6. SPNI (Society for Protection of Nature in Israel), hosting (3 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  7. Nes Ammim Communication Center, hosting (5 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
  8. Authority against addiction and violence, hosting (4 volunteers) and sending for 3 years
