For the first time in the eight countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia) of the EuroMed Youth IV Program was held a training course for national experts in the fields of non-formal education, European procedures and communication.
This three-day module offered to 32 new recruits in Maisons des Jeunes - Youth Centers (graduated Youth Workers), coming from different regions of Tunisia the opportunity to strengthen their capacities and skills in a Tunisian youth landscape undergoing restructuring.
The Maisons des Jeunes have a new status of recognized institutions of public utility, independent and open to all, allowing the EuroMed Youth program to better integrate itself in the Tunisian youth sector and continue to develop in a democratic environment.
The objectives of this training course were to acquire expertise, knowledge and know-how in the fields of:
- Non-formal education of young people and youth workers in order to promote the exchange of information and good practices on subjects of common interest, intercultural dialogue and the development of civil society
- Good design and project management, monitoring of grants connected with EuroMed Youth IV and Erasmus + and some knowledge of institutional and legal instruments of the European Union
- Organization of communication campaigns and visibility of European programs while providing tools that enhance the ability to communicate actively and effectively.
