European Union and EuroMed Youth Unit Israel (EMYU), in the framework of the EuroMed Youth Program Phase IV, and as part of the information to the public and youth organizations in Israel, have organized a two days training seminar for Israeli youth organizations interested on submitting projects for funding within the above mentioned program.
The training seminar took place on Wednesday-Thursday, September 21-22, 2011, in Tel Aviv, at Devora Hotel, with 87 participants from youth organizations, potential applicants for submitting projects at the 1st call for proposals.
The seminar was of great interest, with more than 63 youth organizations participating for two days: 41 men and 42 women, 68 of Jewish origin, 14 Arab, 1 Druze.
It was the opportunity for each organization to exchange information about respective organization, fields of interest in one of the three Actions (Euro-Med Youth Exchanges, Euro-Med Youth Voluntary Service, Euro-Med Youth Training and Networking) as stated at the Euro-Med Youth Program and about European countries they are looking as potential partners for their projects. All these data should be useful to the EMYU (EuroMed Youth Unit) to assist Israeli organizations on finding the best partner/s in European countries within the Euro-Med Youth Program.
Among the other topics of the training: the background of the program, the Smiling Face of Euro-Med with its matters, advised skills and tools and definition of target group, the presentation of past activities, good practices and 3 Pillars of Euro-Med and the procedure content about applications and budget.
