July 2013. Their names are Rémi, Quitterie, Constance ... they are between 18 and 22 years old and they decided to go to meet their Lebanese "cousins" to draw together a path for the future.
Sunday November the 3th, the Public Library of Sebeel and the Francophonia Association of Lebanon, funded by the EuroMed Youth Programme IV, presented, at the Beirut Book Fair 2013, the film «Boukra, with both hands» recounting this great adventure. The projection of the documentary was followed by a round-table discussion entitled "The culture of exchange: a door towards the future" .
The round-table was moderated by Nada Shaul of L’Orient Littéraire.
To the debate participated Josiane Torbey (Sebeel Library), Clotilde de Fouchécour (Francophonia Association of Lebanon), Etienne Louÿs (director of the French Institute of Tripoli), Dr. Fadia Alam Gemayel (Director USJ North), Rima Younes (Business Mediation Centre - USJ) and Bernard Roesch (deputy cooperation advisor at the Embassy of France).
