The annual training for the Euromed Youth Units (EMYUs) of the Euromed Youth Programme IV has been held in Rome from the 2nd to the 6th February 2015 with the participation of the representatives of the EMYUs coming from the following countries: Israel, Jordan, Palestine and Tunisia. Objective of the meeting has been train the latter on the management of the Euromed Youth Programme IV.
The training has been the occasion to do a state of art country by country about the implementation of the program and to present the action plan and the strategy 2015. National strategies and Program Estimates have been the work item of the second day; followed by intense sessions on the management of project proposals and how to use the web tool for the management and monitoring of the awarded proposals and the web site to improve the communication and visibility of the Euromed Youth.
In the framework of the cooperation between the Euromed Youth IV and Erasmus + programme, one of the objectives of this meeting was make the link between the EMYUs and the pool of trainers in charge of the trainings within the EVS (Euro-Mediterranean Voluntary Service) accreditation process that were present at the same dates and in the same place in order to prepare the technical modules for the realization of on arrival training courses for volunteers and mid-term evaluation of EVS projects.
The training has been carried out in order to improve the EMYUs in leading this second phase of the Euromed Youth Programme IV program in effective and sufficient way in view of the new calls of proposals that each country is preparing to launch, Tunisia and Jordan first.
